Clete Thomas, I'm Sorry

In my ode to defense, I forgot to mention Thomas' brilliant assist, throwing a strike from right field to gun down Nelson Cruz at the plate.  Most excellent, Clete.  And now, you get your own post out of it, so it works out in your favor, see?

I was at the game yesterday. That ball that Thomas caught and then threw out the runner at home was hit deep. In my mind, I had conceded that run when I saw where it was hit. Then came the other play which obviously was not so good.
